The Wagner volleyball team traveled to Colton takeon the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Saturday, October 4th. The Lady Raiders picked up another win with scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-23 making them 15-4 on the season.

Link led all servers racking up 14 points/1 ace, Hannah Holzbauer put up 12 points/2 aces while Brianna Fuchs added 8 points/1 ace and Nedved had 8 points. Libby Kotab scrapped for 29 digs in the back court along with Holzbauer grabbing 24, Medricky added 14 and Nedved had 11. Fuchs and Medricky put up 2 solo blocks apiece while Holzbauer, Link, and M. Bruguier each had one of their own.

Read moreThe Avon Pirates have had an outstanding start to the first half of the season. They have worked hard this season by going to practices after school and during the summer. They remain undefeated this season, with a record of 5-0. The Pirates are currently ranked second in the 9B class. Last week, we defeated the Colome Cowboys 67-0. This Friday, we will be taking on TDA/AC/DC for our homecoming game. Next week, we will play against Menno. We have three more regular games before starting the 1st round playoffs on October 23rd.
