LSS OLDER ADULT RESOURCE NETWORK EXPANDS INTO BON HOMME COUNTY

LSS is pleased to announce the expansion of its Older Adult Resource Network (OARN) into Hutchinson and Bon Homme Counties. The program supports adults aged 55+ and their caregivers in rural areas, helping them access essential resources and services that enable them to age comfortably at home. LSS created OARN with support from Lutheran Services in America in 2022 and to date, has successfully assisted over 120 older adults in Douglas and Charles Mix counties.

ALA AMERICANISM ESSAY AND POETRY CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Arthur Wissman Unit #150 recently sponsored the Americanism Essay and Poetry Contests. The essay theme was 'What America the Beautiful Means to Me' and the poetry theme was 'Honor Our Heroes.' Thank you students, parents, teachers, and everyone for honoring our service members and being patriotic and faithful to our country.

ANDES CENTRAL SCHOOL YEARBOOK GOES DIGITAL

Andes Central has switched over to a digital only yearbook format. The 2024-25 Fall semester is currently available for viewing on the school website. The plan moving forward is to release a fall and spring yearbook shortly after each semester ends. This one's a bit late as we are figuring things out as we go. Suggestions are welcome and can be directed to Mr. Winter, Yearbook Advisor. The digital yearbook can be found on the website under the Gallery.
