DISTRICT 21 REPUBLICAN FORUMS

District 21 Republican Candidate Forums are planned in the area. These are in preparation for the Primary election on June 2. They kick off on April 13 at Knotheads in Pickstown at 7 pm; Colome American Legion on April 20 at 7 pm; and God’s Country Campground Event Center hosting the last area forum on April 27 at 7 pm.

Greer Post #11 American Legion

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on March 19, 2026 with 31 members in attendance and 3 SAL members. Craig Krsnak was in attendance and gave a brief presentation on our insurance policy. Due to current trends and costs, the adjuster felt we were underinsured. The queen of hearts drawing was won by Melvin Horner who drew the two of hearts. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members. Commander Rados then called the meeting to order.

Rotary News

The March 18th meeting of the Wagner Rotary Club changed its meeting location to the Two Spurs Restaurant for a special occasion. President Jamie Soukup welcomed Wagner Community School students and their parents to the meeting. Once a year the Rotary Club entertains the students who have a 4.0 standing and their parents to our meeting.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS TO HOST SOUP LUNCHEON

Members of Court St. Rose of Lima #700 of the Wagner/ Dante Parishes, will host their annual soup luncheon on Sunday, March 29th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner. The menu will consist of chicken noodle soup, chili soup, chicken salad sandwiches, ham sandwiches, and desserts. Coffe and juice will also be served.
