Michaela made her journey to the Spirit World on February 16, 2021. Funeral services are 10 AM, Friday, February 19 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial is in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Lake Andes. Wake services began Tuesday at the Community Center. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

South Dakota State Wrestling was held this past weekend in Rapid City. Among those participating was Brady Bierema of the Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon team. On Thursday Bierema started off the tourney on the mat facing off againstAndrew Even of Parkston where he tookthe win. He struggled Friday morning against Owen Hansen and suffered the loss. He then wrestled back hard to earn the his spot in the 3rd place wrestling match where he faced off against Porter Neugebaur of Parkston.
