We are saddened to notify you all that we are postponing the Avon High School All School Reunion until a later date. We have heard from too many alumni that would be unable to attend due to travel restrictions in their current state/location, COVID vaccines haven’t reached every age group yet, etc. We want this event to be successful for all the alumni and give everybody the opportunity to attend.

Whenever someone is admitted to the hospital, they are asked to stipulate their “code status.” Levels of code status include full code, meaning resuscitate and intubate if required; as well as various combinations of do not resuscitate (DNR) and do not intubate (DNI). In simple terms, a code status clarifies what you want the medical team to do in the event your heart stops or if your heart goes into a rhythm that is not compatible with life.

Funeral services for Agnes Drapeaux were held February 19 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
