Read moreThe Avon 12U REC defeated the Tyndall 12U Cavaliers 14-1. Avon got off to a quick start when they scored 5 in the bottom of the 1st. Emersyn Haenfler, Harper Kracht, and Rowan Brandt walked to load the bases. Johanna Namminga then delivered a double to left which scored all three. In the second, Whitley Wolf and Shaeleigh Grant both walked. Emersynsingled,scoringboth. Emersyn was on the mound for Avon. She struck out 8 to go along with 2 hits and zero walks in 4 innings of work.
