They moved all of Cornelia's things out of the North Point Apartments at Tyndall as she will no longer be living there.
Read morePierre, S.D.– The Stephanie Miller-Davis Library Summer Reading Grant Program has continued its fourth year supporting summer reading programs in small rural communities in partnership with the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) and the South Dakota State Library (SDSL). The program has now distributed over $100,000 to libraries in rural communities across South Dakota.

Track season began for Avon High School and Junior High on Monday, March 14. Weather was favorable for the runners’ first week of practice, and they even got some time on the track.

March 17!! The Luck of the Irish!! Leprechauns and a pot of gold!! This date means Shamrock Shakes at McDonald’s (for a limited time), lucky four leaf clovers, and pinches for those not smart enough to wear green. It marks the 60th anniversary of the day that Chicago dyes their river green!

On March 22, Paul Kuhlman and Tamara Carns took their Science Fair qualifiers to the Regional Science and Engineering Fair in Brookings for the 67th Annual High Plains Regional Science and Engineering Fair (HPRSEF). It was held on the SDSU campus.
