For the past four years South Dakota Gives has supported nonprofit organizations across South Dakota to celebrate generosity on South Dakota Day for Giving. This year, from sun up to sun down, nonprofits will be asking their community supporters to come together to raise as much as possible for their projects. As in previous years, Catch the Wave will also be partaking in South Dakota Day for Giving.

Read moreNovember 9th was a cloudy cool day for the Wagner Rotary Club. President Rachel Woods called the meeting to order and Pastor/ Rotarian Bill Heermann gave a prayer for all our troubled hearts and minds after the fire at the Good Samaritan Home yesterday, the 8th. He prayed for the displaced residents and their families and gave a blessing for the food which will nourish us to go out and help others in need.
Read moreFirefighters from Wagner, Lake Andes, Ravinia, Armour, and Delmont were invited to an event designed to honor them for their courage and thank them for their service to the local community. The event is called Red Shirt Sunday and is a joint event sponsored by East Lake Andes Lutheran Church and Armour Community Church. The church was full from front to back as community members celebrated and prayed for the firefighters in attendance.
