Willard and Darlene (Buchholz) Goehring were married March 20, 1960 at the Danzig Baptist Church, rural Avon. They have three children, Kim (Keith) Frey, Brian (Jessie) Goehring, Terry (Tracy) Goehring, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In recognition of their 65th wedding anniversary, their family would like to honor them with an open house/card shower: Sunday, May 18 from 2-4 p.m. at the Menno Fire Hall, 302 S. 5th St. They request no gifts. Every year the community of Wagner come together and dedicate one day as the Wagner Community Cleanup Day. This year it was held, Friday May 2nd at 8:30 a.m. Cleanup crews went house to house looking for curbside items such a: yard debris, furniture, mattresses, appliances, and scrap iron, left out to be picked up.
