Dakota Jubilee Men’s Choir will be performing their home concert on Sunday, April 12th at Prairie’s Edge Methodist Church in Stickney at 7 p.m. They will be performing a variety of sacred, spiritual, and gospel numbers.

Read moreThere was almost a full house at the Rotary Building on March 25th for our weekly meeting. We were missing five members but gained seven guests. The meeting was opened with our Rotary Prayer followed by a rendition of “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.” We still managed to be off key with so many extra voices! I detected a smile or two on some of the guests who are used to singing in chorus at school. We still need a piano player----hello---anybody out there. You will get a free meal each Wednesday!!
Read moreWagner Chamber of Commerce held their annual Wagner Farm, Home, Garden & Sports Show held Thursday at the Wagner Armory, where more than 60 vendors participated. The Catholic Daughters served homemade pie by the slice, while the Knights of Columbus hosted their annual food stand. Many topped off their treats with ice cream, generously donated by Buche Foods, with cups and spoons provided by Wagner Super Foods. Vendors reported a successful event and look forward to returning next year.

Her commitment is part of a remarkable generational legacy: her mother, Mayme Crisman, celebrates 71 years of membership in 2026; her daughter, Janelle Bastemeyer, marks 37 years; and her granddaughter, Lauren Bastemeyer, proudly continues the tradition with three years of membership.
