Read moreOn Wednesday, March 4th the Wagner Rotary Club met at its usual time for its first meeting of the month. Attendance peaked at sixteen members with some absent due to vacation. South Dakota winters begin to feel quite long by the time March rolls around on the calendar. There were no guests present so Rotary Grace was said, and members ate their meal prepared this week by Valley Pump.

Read moreCity library news. 2-4-26 “Winter Reading Blast” began on Monday, February 2nd at the Lake Andes Public Library. Children’s Book Award nominees for grades K-5 will be available for children to read at the library or have them read to them by library aides. A point value has been assigned to each book and points can be redeemed for various prizes, snacks, craft activities and gift cards or Roblox cards. We have not forgotten our older kids. Grades 6-12 are able to select from a list of authors and their books to choose a reading selection from.
