Read moreAmerican Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on December 19 with 38 members in attendance. Commander Rados thanked the cooks for a delicious meal. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members. Commander Rados then called the meeting to order.
Read moreWednesday, January 15th was Steak Day at the Rotary Clubhouse in Wagner. Our Rotary year is divided into four quarters and attendance is important for members. At the end of each quarter the attendance team which has the least number of absences is declared the winner. The losing team is responsible for buying the steaks for the winning team as well as themselves! Absences can be made up by following a program that is prepared online for that purpose. This is the beginning of a new quarter so last week’s names were drawn for two new teams. The steaks today were courtesy of the Bill Frei Team.
