This fun event is one of the ways that the Post uses to raise funds so that they can support various local projects like Boys State, Americanism programs in the local schools, flag disposals and other ways that emphasize their support of Americanism.

On Thursday, August 1st at 8:30 am, a bus rented from BJ School bus left the library with 18 children and 7 chaperones headed to Yankton. Our first stop was the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery, where we toured the Aquarium and then enjoyed a presentation by Sam Stukel, a Fish Hatchery employee. The tour of the trout feeding station was a favorite as we got to feed the fish.

Rumors were true as owners of Apparel WorX, David and Rachel Woods bought the property, remodeled it in seven months and had the business up and running in their new location by the first week of June 2024.
