Under the direction of Julie Rysavy, Andes Central once again has a marching band. Marching band teaches the students different responsibilities. It also helps gets students involved and helps to foster school and community spirit. Being a part of Andes Central’s marching band gives the students a sense of pride. They have been working hard and now will be able to show off their talent and hard work.

Cole Bergin is this week’s spotlighted Andes Central Senior. Cole is the son of Jayme and Wayne Jr. Bergin. He has one sister Callie, who is a freshman at Andes Central. Football and Future Farmers of America (FFA) are two activities that Cole has been a part of while in high school. His favorite class and teacher have been science taught by Mrs. Kristen Maynard. Walking tacos has been his favorite school lunch. Cole’s community service has included helping to manage a pheasant farm/hunting lodge. His advice for underclassmen would be to have fun and let loose.

Rachel Woods was a fill in for President Becky Brunsing at the Rotary meeting on October 4th, 2023. The Vice-President also had other plans. Guests of Rotarian Patty Frei were Margaret Doom the new Wagner Area Growth Director and Jerry Weber brought his neighbor and friend Thoer Goehring from the Delmont area.
