Avon High School Junior, Aziah Meyer, was named the Most Valuable Player from the Class 9B State Championship game against the Faulkton Area Trojans November 9th. Aziah is the son of Jamey Meyer and Alvin Gunter. Aziah’s love for the game started in third grade when he first began playing football after his mom, Jamey, signed him up. He has been playing the game ever since.

Start now to plan a parade entry! “Christmas” is the theme this year for parade entries. Customer appreciation can be handled by each individual business and as they choose. The annual lighting of the Christmas Tree at the corner of 3rd Ave and Main Street is a highlight of the night. Drawings for hams and turkeys will also take place after the tree lighting. If you have a group that would like to organize a food sale or a craft fair that would be wonderful. Let’s make this the best Christmas Parade and Customer Appreciation Day to date!
