Avon Fire Department had a family flair at Wagner’s annual Labor Day Firemen’s Waterfight on Monday afternoon. Father-and-son team Mike Petrik, along with his sons Matthew and Brady, joined forces to represent Avon in the competition. Be Moved.” to Wagner High School on September 24th, 2025. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the gymnasium. Doors open at 6:40PM, with the event starting at 7:00PM CST. The night will feature a live concert from the band “All the Noise”, followed by an impactful and life-changing message from Keith Becker.

The membership sang the Happy Birthday song for September birthdays celebrated by Alison Woods, Jordan Weber, and Kathe Henke. Song leader Rachel Woods led the group in singing one of our favorites “Smile” which we know by heart and didn’t have to worry about doing a poor job in front of the DG!
