The Wagner Rotary Club held its last meeting of the year 2025 last Wednesday. There were several members absent with the year winding down and Christmas approaching soon. There were two guests present, courtesy of Amanda Bechen. She brought Judean Irvine and Isaac Wunder to the meeting. Everyone joined in reciting the Rotary Prayer followed by singing two verses of Jingle Bells with Rotarian Rachel Woods as the leader.

Read moreThe Annual Christmas Candlelight Choir Service of Zion Lutheran Church of Delmont is scheduled for Sunday evening, December 21st, at 7:00 p.m. Mixed choir music, congregational singing, and scripture readings by Pastor Brian Lemcke will present the familiar story of Christ's birth and of prophecies fulfilled. There will be pre-service organ and piano music.

Jamie Soukup welcomed all the Senior students and asked them to speak about themselves: Senior Justyn Jaton is the son of Brenda and Joey Jaton, and he plans to attend Southeast Vo-Tech in Sioux Falls after graduation. Leighton Carda’s parents are Gina Carda and Mike Carda. Leighton plans to join the United States Army! All Rotarians and guests recited our Rotary Grace, and we enjoyed a Cordon Bleu lunch courtesy of Boom’s.
