Read moreThe Wagner Pink Ladies are a non-profit organization committed to helping those in need battling cancer. Our all-woman dart league hosts various fundraisers throughout the community to raise money for local families fighting cancer. Our mission is to assist people financially and emotionally who have battled or are currently battling cancer using the motto, “No one fights alone.” The Pink Ladies originated in Yankton in 2011 and have grown throughout South Dakota and surrounding states throughout the years. Wagner’s Pink Lady dart league originated in 2015 and $39,000 has been given out to our community members. The dart league begins in the fall and is played every other week. Each team consists of two women and subs are allowed. Don’t want to play darts, but still want to help? We would love to have you! Never played darts in your life, but want to play? No problem! Our dart league is committed to raising money and having fun, no need to be good at darts. Please join us at our dart league meeting on September 30th at 7 p.m. at Pad 71. As a student, she always enjoyed Social Studies, and today she brings that same curiosity and excitement into her own classroom.
