MEET THE WAGNER COMMUNITY SCHOOL FFA OFFICERS

As a part of National Agriculture Week which is celebrated March 17th-24th 2024, it is important to celebrate both those currently employed in Ag related careers and those who will be joining the Ag community in years to come. As Wagner is a farming community, it is important to offer Ag education to its students. Future Farmers of America (FFA) is a student organization offered through WCS for those students that are interested in expanding their knowledge of agriculture and leadership.

One of this week’s featured WCS seniors is Macy Koupal. Macy is the daughter of Michael and Tera Koupal. Macy does go by the nickname Mace. During her high school years at Wagner Community School, Macy has been very active in many extra- curricular activities including band (three years), basketball (four years), chorus (three years), National Honor Society (two years), track (four years), student council (four years) and volleyball (four years).

RAIDERS CLAIM CONFERENCE TITLES FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

The Lady Raiders outright won the LMVC Conference for the third consecutive year going undefeated 5-0 and placing 4 players on the All-Conference Team upon voting by conference coaches. Macy Koupal and Lydia Yost are 3-time LMVC all-conference players. Ashlyn Koupal would also return as a 2-time LMVC all-conference player while Braxton Nedved would make her first appearance.
