SESD CONFERENCE MEET RESULTS

It was the start of a very busy week for The Wagner Red Raiders Cross Country Team as they headed to Gregory for a second time this season. Gregory was host to the SESD conference meet. The course was well marked and easy to follow. One could tell that Gregory has hosted many Cross Country meets with how well organized they were. This is important, especially if they want teams to come run at their race again. The teams were grateful for this.

LADY RAIDERS WIN BATTLE AGAINST THE NIGHTHAWKS

The Wagner Volleyball team met up with a tough Tripp/Delmont/Armour team on Monday, October 6th. It was a battle to the end but the Lady Raiders tallied another win with scores of 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, and 25-21. Junior middle hitter Ravyn Medricky came out swinging and put away 24 kills. Hannah Holzbauer added 14 and Mateya Bruguier had 8. Setter Braxton Nedved racked up 43 assists in the win. Brylie Link was on fire behind the service line tallying 23 points, Brianna Fuchs added 15 points/3 aces and Holzbauer had 10 points/1 ace. Senior libero Libby Kotab was all over the floor picking up 27 digs along with Hannah Holzbauer scrambling for 24 digs. Medricky added 13 digs, Link had 12, and Fuchs had 10. The Wagner Wall was led by Medricky with a big night at the net putting up 6 solo blocks along with Bruguier earning 3, Link 2, and Holzbauer and Fuchs each had 1.

LADY RAIDERS PAST HIGHLANDERS IN 3 STRAIGHT SETS

The Lady Raiders welcomed the Scotland Highlanders to town on Tuesday, October 7th. The Lady Raiders came out swinging and swept the Highlanders in three straight sets with scores of 25-5, 25-15, and 25-13.
