Read moreThe Wagner Rotarians met at their clubhouse on Main Street Wagner on February 25th with quite a few members missing again. Spring break vacations must be fashionable this year. President Jamie Soukup called the meeting to order with only fifteen members present. All those present gave thanks with our Rotary Prayer. Valley Pump provided lunch. We were once again without a song leader or an assistant leader so our usual “fall back” is the song Smile—and the whole world smiles with you.

Read moreMembers of Court St. Rose of Lima #700 of the Wagner/ Dante Parishes, will host their annual soup luncheon on Sunday, March 15th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner. The menu will consist of chicken noodle soup, chili soup, chicken salad sandwiches, ham sandwiches, and desserts. Coffe and juice will also be served.

Read moreAmerican Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on February 19 with 25 members in attendance. Commander Rados thanked tonight’s cooks for the delicious dinner. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members. Commander Rados then called the meeting to order.
