HOSA CHAPTER ATTENDS SKILLS NIGHT

The Avon High School HOSA chapter attended a skills night at the Avon Fire Hall on Monday, October 3rd. This was presented by EMTs Dustin Brandt, Liz Brandt, Jarod Myer and Robin Myer. The students were given the opportunity to ask questions, work with medical equipment, and participate in hands-on scenarios during the session. The HOSA chapter is currently in its third active year and strives to give students the opportunity to explore various healthcare careers and gain experience while still in high school. The chapter is advised by Kim Velk, Lisa Weier and Alexis Jurrens; there are currently 21 active members.
