SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR YANKTON SIOUX TRIBE STUDENTS

High school seniors and post high school adults, who are enrolled Yankton Sioux Tribe members who are interested in going on to a technical college at Mitchell Technical College, Southeast Technical College or Lake Area Technical College may be eligible to apply. The scholarship opportunity is known as the “Yankton Sioux Tribe and Build Dakota Partnership Scholarship” and has continued to be a great opportunity for students who want to continue their education after high school. In most situations, graduates have been very successful in making their educational and career dreams into reality due to the fact that a job is usually waiting for them upon graduation from the technical college.

Rotary News

Wednesday, February 11, 2026, was an enjoyable day for a Rotary meeting. One of our Rotarians was present after being absent for several weeks. It is always good to have everyone present for the meetings and Rotarian Jeff Doom was greeted with a round of applause. The membership gave thanks for the meal that was prepared for them by Boom’s by offering up our Rotary Grace prayer.

Saturday, February 14th Varsity Beam: Aubry Williams, Addison Cuka and Emma McNinch all competed beam individual day. Amelia Rathgeber also competed this event as an exhibition gymnast. Emma McNinch scored a 7.7667 and Aubry Williams scored an 8.0833.
