Due to current health concerns, a private family funeral service for Diana Schroeder, 82, of Wagner was held Wednesday, April 1 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Burial will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Peters Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Virgil Bechen, 83, of Lake Andes, died April 2, 2020 at Wagner Good Samaritan Center. Due to the COVID-19-related gathering restrictions, Virgil’s family held private services at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes on Monday, April 6. A memorial service will be held at a later date to properly celebrate Virgil’s life with his family and friends. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
