The Rural Office of Community Services, Inc. (ROCS) of Wagner, SD has been awarded CSBG CARES Act Funds to provide emergency assistance to income-qualified individuals and families who have experienced financial distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several local drivers took the opportunity to test out the new Wagner Speedway track Friday evening in anticipation of the 2020 racing season which gets underway Saturday, June 6 beginning with the annual Car Show and Test and Tune Practice Night. The Car Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MidTowne Oil and Wash followed by Test and Tune beginning at 5 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend and check out the work that has been completed on the track and facility. I may be biased, but I think South Dakota is one of the most beautiful places in the world. This week Falls Park in Sioux Falls was rated the 2nd best city park in the country. It should’ve been ranked #1! But this achievement is just the latest acknowledgement of South Dakota’s beauty.
