Read moreThe Avon girl’s 5th and 6th grade basketball team, Coached by Lindsey Fathke, participated in the Wagner girl’s basketball tournament on Saturday, November 6. The Lady Pirates came in 4th overall. They played teams from Wagner, Gregory and Platte-Geddes. Other school’s that participated at the 6th grade level, include Centerville and Corsica-Stickney. Next up on the schedule, the girl’s will host two games - versus Scotland on Tuesday, November 9 at 4:00 p.m. and against Centerville on Monday, November 15 at 4:00 p.m. Courtesy Photo.
