Charles (Chuck) Leroy Denker, 87, passed away in his sleep at his Roseville, California residence with family members by his side on December 16, 2021. Charles was born in Wagner on February 11, 1934. He was the son of Fred and Helen (Teibel) Denker.

News From The Legislature

2022 is here and that means a new legislative session is upon us! I am Representative Caleb Finck, I live and farm near Tripp, and I will be again writing a weekly column to keep you up to date on important legislative items. Our first week of the new session will be filled with information gathering and speeches. On Tuesday, January 11th we will hear the State of the State address from Governor Noem. Wednesday, January 12th, we will listen in on the State of the Judiciary delivered by the Chief Justice. Finally, Thursday, January 13th we will hear the State of the Tribes Address from one of our Tribal Chairmen.

GOD BLESS THE 235TH MPC

On January 5th, I joined several state and local officials for a deployment ceremony honoring the 235th Military Policy Company. The unit from the South Dakota National Guard is heading to Guantanamo Bay for a challenging operational mission.
