Pirate golf season is off to a great start! McKenna Kocmich has placed in the top 15 at the last two varsity golf meets. Kocmich placed 14th in the SESDSS meet at Fox Run Golf Course and 5th in the Burke/Gregory Invite at Gregory Golf Course. Also, Trevor Eggers placed 3rd in our first Junior High meet of the season held at Scotland Golf Course.
Read moreOn Friday, April 23, Wagner ventured north into Titan country to participate in the Chad Greenway Relays in Mt. Vernon. The competition was good as 17 teams showed for this meet, but, once again, the weather was not as area tracksters dealt with the cold and blustery conditions that have been the staples of the forecast for much of this month. Most were good sports, however, and continued to go out and put forth their best efforts.

Read moreJaden Peters traveled to Mitchell this past Saturday, April 17, to compete in the Corn Palace Relays where he continued his ascent up the pole-vaulting leader board in South Dakota High School history. Jaden once again improved his mark as he vaulted 15’2”, which puts him in a tie for 8th place in South Dakota state vaulting history. It is going to be an interesting and exciting last month of Jaden’s high school career to see if he can surpass 16’1” and become the best high school vaulter ever witnessed in the state of South Dakota!
