Wagner defeated Bon Homme’s JV by a score of 56-35. The Red Raiders outscored the Cavaliers by 13 in the second half. Carter Cournoyer led the team with 14 points, Preston McFayden added 12, Ted Slaba scored 10, Joey Cournoyer had 8, Braxton Knudsen 4 and Deshawn Sully 2. The JV boys are now 3-1.

Wagner won the third quarter by 5 making the score 34- 28 heading into the fourth quarter. Both teams scored 11 points in the final period. The Red Raider C team played their first game of the season Thursday night at home against Parkston. The Red Raiders were behind 14-6 after the first period and 26-16 at half time. Parkston continued to pull away in the second half winning the game over Wagner 55-35. Braxton Knudsen led the team with 12 points, Brady Cournoyer added 10, Deshawn Sully 5, Gabe Houseman4, Parker Petry 2 and Christian Doom 2.

Wagner played a much better second half outscoring the Jaguars by 5 in the third quarter making the score 38-56 heading into the fourth quarter, Corsica Stickney held their lead and won the game 76-51. Dustin Honomichl scored a team high 26 points and had 7 rebounds. Toby Zephier added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Chris Nelson scored 9 points, Matt Link 3, Daelyn Red Buffalo 2 Calvin Wright 2 and Ted Slaba 2. Wagner was 8 of 11 from the free throw line and lost the rebounding battle 26-46.

The Red Radiers took a 50-47 lead into the foruth quarter but lost the game by a final score of 56-55. Toby Zephier led the way for Wagner with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Dustin Honomichl added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Nelson scored 8 points and had 4 assists, Preston McFayden scored 5 points, Ted Slaba 3 and Camden Roth 2. Camden Roth defended one of the best players in class B basketball and held him to 6 points. The Red Raiders made 8 three pointers and made 5 of 8 free throws. Wagner got out rebounded 32-37
