Read moreThe Wagner volleyball team traveled to Tyndall on Saturday, October 21st to participate in the SESD Conference tournament. Wagner first competed against Gregory and defeated them with scores of 25-17 and 25-11. Their second opponent was Parkston and it was a battle but came up short with scores of 20-25, 25-23, and 28-30. Winner was the last team they faced in pool play and they picked up the win with scores of 25-17 and 25-14. With a 2-1 record from pool play that put them into the 3rd/4th place match against Mount Vernon/ Plankinton and they earned 3rd place with scores of 20-25, 25-23, and 25-15.

Kora Backes finished 28th with a time of 26:21.48, Renner DeHaan finished 38th with a time of 23:40.15 and Luke Dangel ran to a 28th place finish with a time of 21:02.4 The state cross country meet will be held October 21st, at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.
