Read moreIt was another hot race for The Wagner Red Raiders Cross Country Team as they traveled to Scotland on Tuesday, September 6th. The kids came very-well prepared for this meet and were ready. They have run this course before and knew there were some decent sized hills. The final 200 meters of the race was all up-hill which is a challenge and a great finish all together. Even though the weather was heating up, the Raider’s Cross Country team was ready for it and it proved to be a great day for them. The results are as follows: Boy’s Varsity --5K 22nd -Vincent Bechen 21:26 24th- Caleb Zephier 22:05 Girl’s JV --4K
Read moreWagner Red Raiders football team traveled to Lake Andes Friday night. The Raiders came away with a great win 14-7. The run game was working, the pass game was there when we needed it. The biggest improvement was the players focus. Foolish penalties were almost eliminated from this game, which kept the Raiders ahead of the sticks most of the game. Going on two, for the snap count, worked this week, gaining two first downs by not even running a play. That’s players focusing on doing THEIR job and doing it well.

Read moreIt was a very hot weather day on Tuesday, September 6 when the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder cross country runners competed in the Scotland Invitational Meet. Anna DeHaan and Lexi Schoenfelder continued to be top runners and earned medals placing 11th and 12th. Their times were 23:27 and 23:49. Top finisher in the Meet was Allison Haugh from Chamberlain (21:04) after her first place teammate Kinsey Evans collapsed in the high heat.
