Children’s access to the internet has become nearly ubiquitous, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote learning, online gaming, and social media are now integral to daily life, meaning more children, even preschool-age children, are regularly online, often unsupervised and unprotected. This new reality demands that we consider not only physical safety for our children, but also the dangers they are facing online.

Lydia Yost gave the welcome, the National Guard presented the colors, Presley Slaba gave the invocation, All State Quartet members Jessica Barnett, Sam Kafka, Cruise Koupal, Jackson Rolston, Presley Slaba, Macee Stimpson, Gavin Tjeerdsma and Lydia Yost sang the 'Star Spangled Banner', Allen Hare sang the 'Dakota Flag/Veterans Song'. All Veterans were recognized with Roll Call/Wall of Honor. The 5th and 6th grade chorus sang 'America the Beautiful'. The 7th and 8th Grade Chorus sung the 'Song for the Unsung Hero'.
