Last Friday night, Bon Homme County 4-H members and their friends were wide awake at the second annual 4-H lock-in. The lock-in was hosted by the Bon Homme County 4-H leaders and volunteers overnight on Friday, March 20 at the county 4-H grounds.

There are the major blood vessels, such as the aorta running out of the heart, and there are the tiny capillaries allowing blood cells one at a time to carry oxygen and nutrients to all the cells in our bodies. The network of capillaries is so complex it is estimated there are over 40 billion in one person, and if stretched out in a single line they would cover over 100,000 miles.

Following the meal, Kenny Powers gave the Lion's Club Welcome, Pastor Aaron Rush gave the Chamber of Commerce Welcome and Lindsey Fathke gave the Introduction of the Class of 2023. Keynote speaker for the evening was John Thayer. Following the speaker, awards were presented to students and staff.
