This week’s featured Andes Central Senior is David Jandrea. David will be the last senior spotlight of the 2023-2024 senior class. David is the son of Jewel Brewer and has two siblings Aleena and Justin. During his high school years, David has been involved in basketball. Walking tacos are David’s favorite school lunch and government is his favorite class.

James Drug services the Wagner, Dante, Lake Andes, Avon, Fairfax, Geddes, Spencer and Butte, NE areas. The pharmacy also services the Good Samaritan nursing homes of Corsica, Tyndall and Scotland and services some residents at the Lake Andes Senior Living. James Drug was first opened in Wagner by Mr. Glen James in 1956. James Drug is currently owned by Dan Fiebelkorn of Gregory.

During her high school years, Riata has been involved in volleyball, track, FFA, FCCLA, band, choir and National Honor Society. Riata has been very active in the community and volunteered her time working with Meals of Hope, Feeding SD and cleaning up trash on the wildlife refuge. Turkey gravy with mashed potatoes is Riata’s favorite school lunch. Riata’s favorite class is Botany with Mr. DeNeui. Botany was never boring and they learned a lot of very interesting and useful information about plants.
