The Wagner Speedway held their annual awards banquet at the Fort Randall Casino this past Saturday, May 4th. They announced their point winners in six categories from the 2023 racing season. Congratulations on a great season and hoping to see all compete in the upcoming racing season.

Read moreMay is designated at Older Americans Month and to commemorate this month and honor our older Americans the Library will be the site of a Pie & Games Social, sponsored by LSS Older Adult Resource Network. The social will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 1-3 pm at the library location at 17 Park Ave. A fun afternoon of cards, puzzles and pie and coffee can be had by all attending. Hope to see you there and bring a friend.

With it being prom season, the Lake Andes Senior Living Center crowned their 2024 King and Queen April 13th. The candidates for King were Melvin Chasing Hawk, Randall Spreckles and Paul Fast Horse. The candidates for Queen were Estelle Redlightning, Noreen Bridges and Vae VanDenHoek. Congratulations to both King Melvin and Queen Estelle.
