The annual VFW Post 7319 Veterans Day Banquet was held at the American Legion with a potluck supper at 7:00 p.m. on November 11, 2023. Toastmaster for the evening was Mark Roberts. The Invocation was given by Post 7319 Chaplain, Don Hubbard. Mark led the group in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. He then introduced officers of both the VFW and American Legion and their Auxiliaries.

Read moreThe Lake Andes Health Care Center celebrated Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 10th. The Andes Central Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) students honored the Veterans residing at the Lake Andes Health Care Center by presenting them with Veteran’s Day Baskets. The baskets included a snack, a drink and a handmade patriotic ornament made by the JAG students. The residents were excited to be honored and to have the JAG students come for a visit.

Previously, Charlotte had been working at the Andes State Bank for almost ten years and before that had worked for Buches doing bookkeeping for five years.
