Nancy Joan Johnson died Tuesday, April 25th after battling an extended illness at home under hospice care lovingly surrounded by her family. She was 65. Her Funeral was Saturday, April 29 at Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Nancy Joan Schultz was born on May 25th, 1957 in Wagner to Bob and Donna (Minahan) Schultz, the third of six children. Nancy had a giving heart and gave us all very special remembrances; the world's best cinnamon rolls loved by her grand and great-grandchildren, her famous homemade pizza, green jello with pears and hosting numerous Thanksgiving gatherings with family.

Among Nancy's favorite things to do were reading, video chats with her siblings, coffee dates, trips to Wyoming, Texas and Deadwood with family. Spending time with family was her most favorite thing to do. Ken and Nancy along with the family spent many fun-filled weekends at Gordy's Campground where their motto was 'come as strangers, leave as friends'. One of her greatest treasures these past few months was meeting and getting to know her newest greatgranddaughter Jovie. Nancy was a woman of strong faith and was looking forward to her heavenly home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ken, son Wayne (Mary) Johnson, daughters Jolynn (Stewart) Hanson and Tamara (Brian) Ledeboer. Grandchildren; Crystal (Skip) Hanson, Jordan (Emily) Hanson, Marissa (Jordan) Schanzenbach, Aaron (Katy) Johnson, Cassandra (Daniel) Hankle, Melissa (Nick) Dalseide, and Zach Ledeboer.
