Levi Medicine Horn was born at the Wagner IHS to Wilmer Trudell and Christine Medicine Horn December 3, 1969. Levi died Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. Levi is an enrolled member of the Ihanktonwan Oyate. He is a descendant of spiritual, holy, traditional Ihanktonwan and Isanti lineage from the Warrior Societies, and descendant of Struck by the Ree. Levi will be remembered for his hunting and gathering skills. He prepared all our traditional foods like the ancestors. He created all of our sacred relics we use in our ceremonies. He made drums of all types. He composed sacred prayer songs for various occasions. He loved singing with the Hilltop singers, and was a respectful strong sundancer. He believed in all the good ways toward Creator. We will miss Levi as he journeys to the center of the universe with all of the aways he carries, believing in our sacred canupa.
