1969, living near Fordyce, NE. To this union was born two daughters: Jolene and Lisa. After 13 years of marriage they divorced. Donna was married to Jack “Honeyboy” Greger on January 11, 1985. They shared their life together in Wagner, and had a successful bee business. Together they enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, and enjoying family and friends. Donna also enjoyed sewing, long walks with her dog, and flower gardening.
Jack died in 2013 and Donna moved to Belle Fourche in 2017 to live closer to her daughter Lisa because she needed the help after her glaucoma got worse. There she lived in her home with her little dog Crickett. The last two years Donna couldn’t live alone because her health deteriorated. She loved
DONNA GREGER visits from her great grandsons Luke and Josiah. It gave her much happiness watching them grow and talking about them.
Donna lost almost all her sight, and couldn’t walk. The dementia stripped her of most everything else, and she held onto Jesus. I’m glad God chose her to be my mom. It was hard, but an honor to care for her at the end of her life. Donna was a mom, grandma, and friend. Most importantly she repented and believed on Jesus, loving Jesus. Even when she could barely speak, she would say Jesus is with me. She now has her new body and resides with Jesus, and I take great comfort in that and all the Lord did. Praise God He made a way, a gift of eternal life through His one and only Son, Jesus. I’m proud of my mom, she fought the good fight, kept the faith and finished the race. She has no more pain; He has wiped the tears from my mom eyes and brought her Home. What a glorious day!
Revelation 21: 3-4: “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’” Surviving family are: Daughter Lisa Hines and her husband Kelly, Moorcroft WY.
