Bonnie Lynn Kazena, 56, of Wagner died Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Wednesday, August 16 at the Greenwood Community Center in Greenwood. Burial was at the Kezena cemetery at a later date. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie Lynn Kezena was born to Fred Kezena Jr. and Clarice (Franklin) Kezena in Wagner. She really enjoyed laughing and joking with family and friends. Bonnie made some of the best fry bread around. She was always requested to make it for many occasions. She worked vicarious jobs which included flagging for road construction, Yankton Sioux Travel Plaza, and Fort Randall Casino. She really enjoyed it when company stopped by to visit her home and would love it when they would offer her to go for car rides. She enjoyed playing cards throughout her life with family. Some of her favorites were pitch and rummy.

She had four beautiful children with Corky; son Josiah (Kelline) of Sioux Falls, daughter Faye (Jay) of Avon, son Steven (Mandy) of Yankton, and daughter Katrina (Christopher) of Greenwood. She has many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and relatives.

She is at rest with her parents Fred Kezena Jr and Clarice Franklin; siblings: Bernard Kezena, Clinton, Bonita, and Craig; maternal grandparents Josiah Franklin and Jennie Iron Necklace; paternal grandparents Fred Kezena Sr and Alice Gullikson; and the love of her life Evans Kezena and many relatives. She is survived by al her loved relatives.
