Wagner Rotary members gathered at the Wagner Community School Wednesday, May 5 for their annual presentation of awards recognizing the top scholars in Grades 9 thru 12 in the school theatre. The two $1000.00 scholarships were presented by Commander Merritt Stegmeier to Avery Schacht (center) and Jaiden Longe (right). The Scholarships were presented at the Andes Central High School Academic Awards Assembly, held Monday, May 3rd. Avery plans to attend South Dakota State University majoring in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. After 29 years, Dave and Sandy Brandt have decided to sell the Avon Locker to two young couples, Devin and Jill Tolsma, and Logan Powers and Alyson Stahl.
